Yellow Heart Committee (YHC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization mobilizing to support the holistic mental health of trauma survivors through policy advocacy, education, and community outreach. The Administrative Assistant is central to smooth process, efficiency, and support. This position would be responsible for working and supporting directly with the VPs and C.E.O. 

Duties included but not limited to:

  • Scheduling meetings and appointments

  • Taking notes and minutes in meetings

  • Ordering supplies for YHC

  • Being a point of contact for a range of staff and external stakeholders

  • Preparing documents for meetings 

  • Writing and issuing emails to teams and departments on behalf of teams or senior staff

  • Finding ways to improve administrative processes

Ideal candidate:

  • A high school degree and/or GED 

  • Professional demeanor with the ability to remain poised 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail

  • High integrity and sound judgement, able to use discretion with all communications.

  • Strong familiarity with Google Drive and Slack
