The Director of Community Programming at YHC will lead the Community Programming Team in the development, maintenance, and implementation of programming, events, and direct service opportunities. The Director of Community Programming will ensure that all YHC events and programs meet their goals and objectives. 

Duties Included but not limited to:

  • Creating event proposal documents and any additional materials

  • Developing and managing program/event timelines 

  • Attend and lead collaboration meetings with external partners

  • Manage and delegate tasks to Event Coordinator and Programming Associates

  • Maintain communication with external partners and panelists

  • Working with Research Coordinator to record and evaluate event and program outcomes

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in program management; advanced degree or a combination of education and work experience providing comparable knowledge and skills desirable

  • Strong abilities in planning and running programs and events

  • Experience with virtual event planning and community programming

  • Strong abilities in organization, administrative, time management, and personnel management skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Must be able to work both collaboratively and independently
