 Human Resource Manager

The Human Resources Manager will assess internal organization processes and activities and will recommend and implement changes for process modernization and optimization. The Human Resource Manager will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy. The HR Manager will ensure YHC attracts, hires, and retains highly qualified and dedicated individuals who are engaged and aligned with their roles and mission of YHC.

Duties included but not limited to: 

  • Develop recruitment processes matched with YHC’s goals and initiatives

  • Take ownership of all internal human resources functions for the organization

  • Heavily focused on policy compliance and implementation, specifically in the non-profit space (CA 501c3) 

  • Oversee, develop, and implement hiring and onboarding processes

  • Moderate internal documents and create a policy handbook

Ideal candidate:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in or currently studying areas such as human resources, communications, public relations, or a related field of study.

  • At least 1 year of generalist experience.

  • Professional demeanor with the ability to remain poised 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail

  • High integrity and sound judgement, able to use discretion with all communications.
